Veronica gentianoides - Gentian Speedwell

A low-growing, evergreen perennial forming neat rosettes of glossy, lance-shaped leaves. It produces spikes of pale blue to lilac flowers in spring, making it ideal for rock gardens, alpine beds, and the front of sunny borders.

• Exposure: Moderately wind-tolerant; not strongly coastal-tolerant, best in sheltered positions.
• Size: 10–20 cm tall; 20–30 cm wide.
• Soil: Well-drained, moderately fertile soils; tolerates sandy or loamy ground.
• Sun: Full sun to partial shade.
• Flowering Time: Spring (typically April–June).
