Dipsacus fullonum - Teasel

A tall biennial, native Irish wildflower, with spiny stems and distinctive cone-shaped flower heads that start green and mature to purple. Dipsacus fullonum is valued for its architectural form in wildflower meadows and for traditional uses in textile processing and folk remedies.
